People of Asian descent throughout the world have experienced an increase in acts of racial oppression since their arrival to the United States. The oppression changes as conditions change within their new adopted country. With the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Japanese were the target of hate; after 911 we saw an increase in hate and physical attacks on South Asians; and now attacks on Asians are on the rise due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
