WHAT STANDS BETWEEN US
So often we long to begin a conversation with someone who is different from ourselves, but hold back because we fear we might be rejected or say something inappropriate. Renowned Chinese-American filmmaker, author and educator Lee Mun Wah collected over four hundred questions that People of Color and EuroAmericans have always wanted to ask each other. He used them to create his “Racism Conversation Flashcards.”
Please join the Center for the Healing of Racism on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, to play a game of “What Stands Between Us” using these innovative flashcards. They provide an excellent opportunity for people who want to start a conversation on racism, but don’t know where to begin or what to ask
