“We slaughter one another in our words and attitudes. We slaughter one another in the stereotypes and mistrust that linger in our heads, and the words of hate we spew from our lips.” -Nelson Mandela
Stereotypes are an incredibly pervasive problem. No matter how much we may not want to participate in stereotypes, they are so invasive to our society that it takes enormous effort to fight them. However, if we want to stop racism we must come face to face with the stereotypes we follow and work to banish them.
Bring your lunch and let’s shatter stereotypes together!
This event is free and open to the public with donations greatly appreciated.
