The Skin I Am In – a Zoom workshop

In Partnership with the Equity Innovation Center at the YMCA of Greater Houston:

In this workshop we discuss the historical and current effects of skin color on Brown and Black people.  These include mass incarceration, racism and more. We address how Black and Brown people are perceived by others as well as by themselves.  We confront challenges to BIPOC being comfortable in their own skin.  Together we will navigate through the causes and effects and dispel negative perceptions.
